Pace Classifications
REC – Recreational ride, pace averaging 12-14 mph.
ADV – Advanced ride, pace averaging 16-18 mph.
TBD – Pace determined by participants at start of ride.
Note: Coordinators may adjust the ride to match the weather and participants wants. Riders are responsible for knowing the route and being safe.
Helmets are required.
Rides are open to adults age 18 and up.

Ride Cancellations – check Facebook
Ride cancellations or changes will be posted on Facebook at least 60 minutes before the ride. Riders not on Facebook should RSVP with ride coordinator at least 24 hours before the ride if they want to be notified of any changes.

NEW CHAIN GANG BINGO 2025
April 15 through October 15, 2025

What to Expect:
The Chain Gang is taking the 2025 Cycling Season to the next level with a 6-month world-wide extravaganza of fun, excitement, adventure and a little bit of friendly competition!

Riders wishing to participate may contact Mike Adair BEFORE 4/15/2025 at [email protected] and I will send you your own randomly generated personal Bingo Cards to be used during this event.

As in regular Bingo, the center square is a free square.
Riders may play a maximum of 2 Bingo Cards at a time.

How to Play:
• Go for a Ride (take your card with you).
• Complete one or more Bingo Squares completed during your ride.
• Post a photo of your card along with one of that ride’s accomplishment on the Chain Gang Facebook Page – Bingo 2025 Album.
• For game tracking purposes, if you are not on Facebook, you may text your photos to 810-841-7387.

Prizes:
A prize/keepsake will be awarded to the First Rider to achieve one of the following:
• Each of the 4 corners completed
• 1 diagonal completed
• 2 diagonals completed
• 1 vertical column completed
• 1 horizontal row completed
• Entire Card Completed!

NOTE: Our cycle season typically runs from Mid-April through the end of September.
Other months, impromptu bike rides, hikes, cross-country ski outings, kayak paddles, and more may be posted and announced as weather and interest allow.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:  People engaging in Chain Gang activities do so at their own risk.
PARTICIPANTS UNDERSTAND THAT BICYCLING IS AN INHERENTLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY THAT CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY AND DEATH. PARTICIPANTS RECOGNIZE THAT CHAIN GANG ACTIVITIES MAY TAKE PLACE ON PUBLIC ROADS OPEN TO MOTOR VEHICLE TRAFFIC AND CONTAINING OTHER HAZARDS TO BICYCLISTS. PARTICIPANTS TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR OBEYING ALL TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND PERSONAL SAFETY WHILE RIDING. PARTICIPANTS ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT CHAIN GANG PARTICIPANTS, INCLUDING THEMSELVES, OFTEN ENGAGE IN OTHER OUTDOOR ADVENTURES SUCH AS KAYAKING AND HIKING. PARTICIPANTS RELEASE AND WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST THE CHAIN GANG, ITS PARTICIPANTS AND/OR COORDINATORS, FOR ALL DAMAGES INCURRED AT OR ASSOCIATED WITH ANY CHAIN GANG ACTIVITY FOR THEMSELVES, THEIR HEIRS, THEIR EXECUTORS AND THEIR ASSIGNS.
